May 17: Jimenez allowed two runs on seven hits, walking two and striking out nine over five innings, but received a no-decision in a game the Indians won over Seattle in 10 innings Friday night. He has pitched much better since making minor adjustments to his mechanics, and while he struggled with his command in this one, needing 98 pitches (only 59 for strikes), he could be headed in the right direction. His next outing, against a powerful Detroit squad, should be a good indicator of just how much progress he has made.
