During the past three years Astros management has sold or traded every athlete in the organization who had any talent for playing baseball; how in the world can Brad Mills be blamed for the performance of the motley crew they left him to work with? 276 Days ago

Tony's better Sacramento River Cats teams could definitely beat the Astros where they are now. 277 Days ago

OTOH, the Astros lousy records correlates with high draft picks, allowing them to pick the cream of the crop for a run of a few years. Just like Washignton did a few years ago... how's that working for the Nats? By 2017, the Astros should have the solid nucleus of a contender, just like the Nationals... 277 Days ago

I feel good for Brad Mills---he's finally out of hell. Nobody could have won there--not Earl Weaver--not Billy Martin--not Casey Stengal--not Tony LaRussa--not Walter Alston--nobody. It's a total rebuild. Selig should be ashamed for making the new owner agree to relocation to the AL. They will be slaughtered even more next year. 277 Days ago
