Wow just realized James McDonald isnt even an all star lol.....but Huston Street and Adam Dunn are? Dunn bats his weight. There are plenty of guys with a few less HR's and much better averages that deserve to be included over Dunn's bum a s s. Even his own damn teammate Alejandro De-Aza is more deserving

Anyone think they should have some type of skills challenge like in the NBA and NHL....like outfielders try to show off their guns from the outfield. IDK maybe throw into a barrell at home plate lol. And like a double play contest that gets judged on creativity. This $@%! gets more lame every year. they need to add something, my ideas are kinda dumb....but something should happen

Anyone saying that Cain should start over Dickey because Dickey has only been better for this year's first half needs to do research. Since beginning of 2010, RA Dickey has the 8th best ERA in baseball Matt Cain is 9th. Dickey should start.

VERLANDER: FIRST in MLB in innings pitched ...strikeouts.....complete games . First in AL in quality starts.....second in AL in strike out / walk ratio. second in AL in WHIP... 4th in AL in ERA. 9 starts 8+ innings or more (Weaver/ Sale 8 combined) One less win than Weaver Run support 4.2 runs less per game than Weaver. Cant really argue against either as the choice.

Matty Cain better not blow it by allowing a large deficit after the first two innings, but then again, that may be another way that LaRusa gets at the Reds (by giving away the home field advantage for the WS).
