There's something missing from this article that's as equally impressive as the A's sweeping the Yankees in 4 straight. Not only did the A's win all 4 games but, each game was decided by just 1 run. I can't believe the article didn't mention that. How does something that impressive go un-noticed? Nice job by the A's getting four 1 run wins over the mighty Yankees in as many days. I bet the Yanks don't lose too many 1 run games, I wonder what their record is in such games. I'll bet there hasn't been too many 4 game sweeps in MLB history in which each game was decided by 1 run. Congrats to the A's and their fans!!!

A close door meeting?? Really?? You can't be serious about that. Before this series the Yanks had a 5-1 homestand, the series before that they took 3 out of 4 from the Red Sox in Boston. Also, they were 16-6 in their previous 22 games before heading to Oakland. They got swept (on the road) by the hottest team in baseball and all the games were decided by just 1 run. With all that being said I'd hardly say a closed doors team meeting is necessary. That's just crazy talk. The team that needs a closed doors team meeting/ripping/bashing would be the Cleveland Indians. These idiots need to start manufacturing some runs.
