In a fresh twist for the 2014-15 season, our golf experts (Matt Barrie, "SportsCenter" anchor, Jonathan Coachman, "SportsCenter" anchor; Michael Collins, ESPN.com senior golf analyst; Bob Harig, ESPN.com senior golf writer; Kevin Maguire, ESPN.com senior golf editor; John Ziomek, "SportsCenter" coordinating producer) will pick one player they think will win that week's PGA Tour event.
They will "earn" the amount of cash their selection makes that week. Finish first and it's likely a $1 million-plus payout. Miss the cut and it's a bagel in the bank.
The catch? They can pick any particular golfer only once all season. And we'll keep a tally, updated every week -- for bragging rights, of course.
This week, the tour stops at Trump National Doral Miami for the WGC-Cadillac Championship.
Matt Barrie, "SportsCenter" anchor: Dustin Johnson
My descent down the leaderboard is similar to Tiger Woods' this season. It's embarrassing. And the bad stops now. The Blue Monster is one of the top five longest courses on tour. One of the longest hitters on tour is Dustin Johnson. And he has to be motivated after missing the cut last week at PGA National. He has had success at Doral, with a fourth-place finish last year. My "No Rory Method" until the majors lives on this week. Give me DJ.
Jonathan Coachman, "SportsCenter" anchor: Sergio Garcia
This week I am going with my guy. Two weeks ago, Sergio Garcia was very candid about why he didn't win the Northern Trust Open. This is the kind of week when Garcia can step up and bite the field. I think he does it in impressive fashion as the entire field continues preparation for the Masters. But let's not forget how big of an event this is.
Michael Collins, ESPN.com senior golf analyst: Patrick Reed
I'm picking the defending champ coming off a solid week at Honda. Now plays a course he's more comfortable on than everyone else. Again, the focus might be on the "I'm one of the top five players in the world" statement he made here last year, but after this week, he will have beaten the top four twice at the same spot. Who's laughing now?
Bob Harig, ESPN.com senior golf writer: Dustin Johnson
After six months off, Johnson is playing in his fifth consecutive tournament, perhaps a bit risky if fatigue is setting in.
But Johnson had a few days off after missing the cut at the Honda Classic, an understandable development given the weather and the difficulty of PGA National. He wasn't the only one to struggle.
The bottom line is Johnson has played well in his return, narrowly missing the cut at Torrey Pines followed by top-5 finishes at Pebble Beach and Riviera, where he lost in a playoff. Last year he tied for fourth at Doral, now a much bigger ballpark where his length can be an important factor.
Kevin Maguire, ESPN.com senior golf editor: Bubba Watson
After two straight bagel weeks, it's time to make some cash. That's why I'm going with Bubba Watson, who's already above the $2 million mark, and the calendar just hit March. In two of his last three starts at Doral, the reigning Masters champion finished second, losing by a stroke to Patrick Reed in 2014 and to Justin Rose in 2012.

Reed is playing so well to start the season, and combined with the fact that he is the defending champ this week, I expect him to shake off the stumble at the Honda Classic and win back-to-back at Doral.
