Brad Fritsch wins full '15 exemption

Brad Fritsch capped off his stellar week with a 5-under 66 on Tuesday at PGA National Resort and Spa to win the Web.com Tour Q-School by a whopping 7 shots.

The victory means Fritsch will be fully exempt for the 2015 Web.com Tour season.

Fritsch started fast in the final round, playing the first four holes at 3 under, essentially putting the hopes of just about everyone out of reach.

"It was fantastic to be three under through four today," Fritsch said in a statement. "I can't tell you how important that was. It basically eliminated all of the field, except maybe Andrew (Landry) and I was watching what he was doing.

"I wouldn't have been comfortable out there at even par because he was making some birdies and he would have been pretty close."

Landry, a three-time All-American at Arkansas, shot 20-under for the 108-hole tournament to finish solo-second.

Fritsch led after the third, fourth, fifth and sixth rounds while collecting $25,000 for the victory.

Everyone playing this week at Q-school owns some type of status on the Web.com Tour, but at stake is each golfer's priority ranking, which determines the week-to-week fields during the 2015 season.
