Want easier access to ESPN.com's golf content? Put "golf" in the menu bar/navigation across the top of your page in just a few easy steps.
There are several ways you could do it.
Desktop version (if you already have an ESPN.com account)
1) If you already have an espn.com account, and you are on a desktop computer, sign in with your name and password by clicking "Sign In" at the top right corner of any ESPN.com page.
2) Then click "My ESPN" at the top left of the menu bar/navigation. Then click on "golf" and it will automatically save golf to your menu bar/navigation.
Desktop version (if you don't already have an ESPN.com account)
1) First, at the top right of any ESPN.com page, click "Sign In" or "Register."
2) A pop up window will appear. You can click "sign in with Facebook" if you like. That will pop up a second screen where you just hit "okay" and it shares with ESPN what Facebook pages you "like." (Then skip to step 8)
3) A second way is to create a member name. On that same pop up window that you get to after clicking "Sign In or Register" at the top of any ESPN.com page, click the red "Register Now" button on the right side.
4) Then type in an email address and hit "next" and fill out the fields below and click "finish".
5) You will then get a pop up window that will allow you to personalize your menu bar/navigation.
6) Under the "sports" tab, click on golf once. Then hit the "add" button and it should show up on the right side of the pop up window. Add other sports as you like.
7) Then click "ok" and you are finished.
8) Once you sign in via Facebook, go back to the top right corner of any ESPN.com page and click on your name. That will launch a pop-up window. On the far left side, click on "Personalization Center."
9) On the next page that pops up, click on "Sports" and then click "Golf." Next, click the "add" button and that will move golf to the right side of the page. Then click "ok" and "Golf" should show up across the top of your menu bar/navigation.
Tablet version (if you already have an ESPN.com account)
1) If you are on a tablet and already have an espn.com account, click "My ESPN" at the top left of the menu bar/navigation and then sign in with your name and password.
2) Then click "My ESPN" at the top left of the menu bar/navigation and on the right side of the page that pops up will be a heading titled "My Sports" where you can select golf and then click save. "Golf" should now show up across the top of your menu bar/navigation.
Tablet version (if you don't already have an ESPN.com account)
1) Go to espn.com and click on the "MyESPN" icon in the menu bar/navigation.
2) You can sign in via Facebook by clicking the "Sign In With Facebook" icon on the lower right of your screen. (If you don't have a Facebook account or would rather not sign in using it, skip to step 4.) You will be directed to a Facebook page where you will have to sign in with your Facebook credentials.
3) Click on the "MyESPN" icon in the menu bar/navigation again. On the bottom right corner, under the "My Sports" heading, click on golf. It should turn grey. Than click save. That should automatically update your menu bar/navigation to include golf.
4) Click on "MyESPN" icon in the menu bar/navigation. To the right of the "Sign In" button, click "Register."
5) Under the "Create Account" heading, fill out the corresponding fields and hit "create" at the bottom of the page.
6) Click on the "MyESPN" icon in the menu bar/navigation again. On the bottom right corner, under the "My Sports" heading, click on golf. It should turn grey. Than click save. That should automatically update your menu bar/navigation to include golf.
Smartphone version (if you already have an ESPN.com account)
1) If you are on a smartphone, click "My ESPN" at the top left of the menu bar/navigation and then sign in with your name and password.
2) Click on "MyESPN" icon in the menu bar/navigation. Scroll down to "My Sports" and click on "Golf" to make it one of your favorites. After clicking, it will turn grey. Then scroll down and hit the save button. Then click the close button to the right.
3) If you scroll back up to the top of the page and click on "Sports", golf should now be listed as one of "My Sports".
Smartphone version (if you don't already have an ESPN.com account)
1) On your smart phone, click on the "MyESPN" icon in the menu bar/navigation.
2) You can sign in via Facebook by clicking the "Sign In With Facebook" icon. You might have to scroll down to find it. (If you don't have a Facebook account or would rather not sign in using it, skip to step 4.)
3) Click on "MyESPN" icon in the menu bar/navigation. Scroll down to "My Sports" and click on "Golf" to make it one of your favorites. After clicking, it will turn grey. Then scroll down and hit the save button. Then click the close button to the right.
4) To create an ESPN.com account to make put "golf" in your menu bar/navigation, click on the "MyESPN" icon in the menu bar/navigation.
5) Under the "Sign In" button, click "Register" and fill out the corresponding fields and click "create."
6) Then click on the "MyESPN" icon in the menu bar/navigation. Scroll down to "My Sports" and click "Golf". Then scroll to the bottom and click save, then click close. Golf should now be one of your "favorite" sports.
