The PGA Tour's 2014-15 schedule will include 47 events -- up by two from this season -- and includes a couple of tweaks that had been previously announced, the biggest being the WGC-Match Play Championship moving from February to May and preceding the Players Championship.

The Match Play will be contested at Harding Park in San Francisco, necessitating the move of the Wells Fargo Championship to the week following the Players in May.

The Quicken Loans National, which benefits the Tiger Woods Foundation, will move from June to July following the Open Championship and Canadian Open and fall the week before the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational.

The new season begins just two weeks following the Ryder Cup in Scotland with the Frys.com Open at Silverado Resort Club in Napa, California, from Oct. 9-12.

There will be seven official events in the fall, with two in Asia, including the WGC-HSBC Champions, and concluding with the OHL Classic in Mexico, from Nov. 13-16.

The schedule resumes in Hawaii with the Hyundai Tournament of Champions from Jan. 9-12.

The Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines will trade places with the Waste Management Phoenix Open, with the TPC Scottsdale event concluding Super Bowl Sunday on Feb. 1. The San Diego event is the following week.

The first major championship of the year, the Masters, is April 9-12.

The new events are the Barbasol Championship in Alabama to be played opposite the Open Championship, as well as the Sanderson Farms Championship, which took a year off and will be one of the seven fall events.

Unlike this season, when the four FedEx Cup playoff events are played in consecutive weeks, there will be a break next year between the Deutsche Bank Championship and the BMW Championship.

The 2014-15 season will conclude Sept. 27 at the Tour Championship, with the Presidents Cup two weeks later in South Korea.
