Djokovic, Nadal among those who should have their own apps

Maria Sharapova, one of the game's savviest marketers, has just launched her own app, featuring chats, pictures and behind-the-scenes looks with the multiple-Grand Slam champion. But she doesn't have to be the only player coming up with a personalized technological offering. Here are a few apps just calling to be developed by the following tennis pros.

Novak Djokovic: The Bounce Counter app

It counts how many times a player bounces the ball before serving, reflecting the world No. 1's tendency to dribble the ball several times when starting his delivery. Bonus feature: It tracks the score and suggests the optimal amount of bounces based on the importance of winning the next point.

Rafael Nadal: The Shot Clock app

It measures the amount of time taken between points, warning slow players like Nadal when they're exceeding the 25-second limit. But because it's designed by Nadal, it allows bonus time because of the length of previous points he plays.

Roger Federer: The Mishit Measurer app

It tracks the contact point of a swing, charting the frequency of off-center shots that are often a telltale sign of how the 17-time Grand Slam champion is playing. If the amount rises above a set level, it suggests using a bigger racket.

Maria Sharapova: The Decibel Meter app

There's no feature more appropriate for Sharapova to include than this handy device that measures a grunt's loudness when hitting the ball. It can even tell by the volume how tight a match is getting.

Serena Williams: The Schedule Tracker app

Even the world No. 1 can keep up with which tournaments she's playing and not playing with this scheduling system. It alerts when there's a withdrawal, counts the amount of tournaments entered and marks everything as provisional except the Grand Slams.

Ana Ivanovic: The Fist Pumper app

A programmable signal reminds a player to fist pump on every point once activated, with bonuses given for accompanying exclamations and body motion. Can create an entertaining competition within the competition.

Andy Murray: The Coach Finder app

Useful for those with the frequency and amount of coaches Murray cycles through, it identifies who the current coach is, which one is on duty in a particular week and suggests alternatives for when a change is required. No hitting partners are included in the current version.

Ivo Karlovic: The Ace Accumulator app

Perfect for big-serving players like the giant Croatian, it counts aces and sees whether the required frequency is being met for winning a match. It also warns if the ratio of aces to rallies drops below the preferred level. Also popular with other ATP big hitters such as John Isner and Milos Raonic, it features big, easy-to-use buttons for large hands.

Petra Kvitova: The Form Radar app

When, like the inconsistent Czech, there's no telling how playing will be from one day to the next. It adjusts downwards following a good stretch and projects a resurgence just as performance begins dropping.

Caroline Wozniacki: The Marathon Matcher app

It measures the distance run while playing a match, so players can see how much training they're getting for a marathon run. To improve multipurposing, it offers suggestions such as extending points, playing defensively and going three sets.
