The recruiter power rankings examine which assistant coaches have already done damage on the recruiting trail in the 2015 class. Beyond looking at how many four- or five-star recruits a coach lands, the rankings take into account the needs those recruits will fill at the next level.
With the season and official visits off and running and more than 200 players in the ESPN 300 having already committed, the coaches are working extra hard to bolster their classes.

10. Jeff Scott
School: Clemson

Top recruit: ESPN 300 No. 114 Garrett Williams

What he's done: Ignore how many ESPN 300 players Scott has recruited individually, and focus on Clemson's second-ranked class. That's why he ranks in the top 10. Aside from Alabama, no team has impressed more than the Tigers, and a lot of their success can be attributed Scott, who is Clemson's recruiting coordinator and had a hand in virtually every commitment. Adding Ray-Ray McCloud III in late July was a very big pickup for the Tigers, and Scott's fingerprints were all over his pledge.
What the competition is saying: "You won't see his name mentioned by a bunch of recruits when you read quotes, but keep in mind he's involved in every single guy that Clemson gets," an ACC assistant said. "He's the guy that keeps it all together, and to put together the run they're on right now on the recruiting trail, that's darned impressive."
