Specialist Trindon Holliday to Giants

Return specialist Trindon Holliday has agreed to terms with the New York Giants on a one-year deal, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

At 5-foot-5, 170 pounds, Holliday's value is in the return game, where he had 1,046 yards and two touchdowns last year for the Denver Broncos.

Holliday has however been hindered by fumbling issues as he has coughed up the ball a combined 10 times over the past two seasons.

By taking a paycut for the second straight season, defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka's 2014 base salary was reduced from $4.375 million to $1.5 million in a move that saves the Giants a little more than $2 million in salary-cap space and likely helped clear the way for the Monday signings of Holliday and cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.
