Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack & Resort, which began its 2015 race meet the evening of March 1, has canceled its second program March 2 because of track conditions.
The West Virginia track raced despite snow Sunday night. The low for the area Monday night is expected to be about 10 degrees.
Meanwhile, in Pennsylvania, Parx Racing began its March 2 program but canceled after two races because of track conditions. The track has had nine full-card cancellations and three partial-card cancellations this year.
