New opportunities from trades

In fantasy basketball circles, Mason Plumlee is a name that has meant very different things throughout the first half of the season.

Early on, he was buried on the Brooklyn Nets' bench as new head coach Lionel Hollins gave Brook Lopez the majority of the minutes at center.

Plumlee barely saw the court, averaging a mere 13.1 minutes a game in November, including five games where he played less than 10 minutes.

His fantasy value at the time? Nonexistent.

Then, in early December, Lopez went down with a lower back strain, and everything changed.
