Fantasy intel on Peyton, Cowboys

Will Peyton Manning bounce back from three straight subpar fantasy outings? AP Photo/Charlie Riedel

Every week during the NFL season, Matthew Berry will be engaging in a discussion with an NFL expert on topics that will provide valuable insights for fantasy owners. For this pre-Week 16 edition, Berry and Sports Illustrated and MMQB NFL analyst Peter King weigh in on what to expect from Peyton Manning in Week 16 following his recent statistical struggles. Also, they project the Dallas Cowboys' ground game without DeMarco Murray, Josh Gordon's Week 16 outlook and what to expect from Justin Forsett and Adrian Peterson in 2015.

Should fantasy owners be concerned about Peyton Manning's recent subpar numbers coming into Week 16? And what about the Cowboys' running back situation?

Matthew Berry: I'm excited to have you join me for this column, Peter. I'm a longtime fan of your work, in addition to your being a friend of mine.

Let's get right into it. How concerned should fantasy owners of Peyton Manning be about his production recently? It seems as if the Broncos have gone a lot more run-based the past few weeks. I'm wondering what you've been hearing out of Denver in terms of the expectations for Manning, particularly this week against a Bengals defense that has been playing well lately.
