Fantasy football is as unpredictable as ever. In three of my six leagues, I put Jimmy Graham back in my lineup right before kickoff. That didn't work out so great. In half of my leagues, I own Percy Harvin, who not only didn't play football this week but also has been shipped across the country to the New York Jets.
You just never know what's going to happen in the NFL. The Jacksonville Jaguars won a game. The defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks lost on the road to the St. Louis Rams. The Buffalo Bills lost their top two running backs.
We don't have the answers, but if you have noticed each week in this column, we have had a pretty good feel for the up-and-coming fantasy assets. Week 8 has the San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants on a bye, but there are six teams off in Week 9 and another six in Week 10, as well as four on a bye in Week 11. Winter is coming. Your roster is going to need plenty of insulation for the harsh fantasy weather approaching.
