I'd take average in the 17th round. That's probably better than most other players picked that late.

Amendola is relevant if you PPR, he's going to catch the ball for the Rams. Sanchez will still be decent.

BuffaloTalkinProud
They are relevant if you are in a league with some level of difficulty. Mine is 16 teams, with 20-23 players per roster, so up to 368 players are utilized, near double what the average 12x16 league drafts.

I am in a keeper league where I have Calvin Johnson, Ryan Mathews, and Julio Jones costing me a 3rd, 6th, and 7th round picks respectively. In the first round where I am slotted, I have narrowed the best available down to Ray Rice and Matt Stafford. The Rice plan would likely have me reach a little late in round 2 for Mike Vick or take the best available RB/WR then wait on a QB (Eli, Romo, Rivers, Peyton, Ryan). Going with Stafford I know looks ridiculous because Rice is a top 5 player in every ranking I see, but does anybody else see that as an option that could work?

RevClyburn
As much as I like Stafford, you have to take Rice. Your RB base will be strong and a compliment player like MC Gahee, Charles or Fred Davis (Buf) would be a solid base. When you get a chance, go grab Mattie Ice, and a solid WR that you know is going to get the ball, Decker, Laurant, Garcon, Colston they all should be available in the 5th round. Don't wait to much longer to grab a QB as they will be gone. Don't worry about a TE, get witten, he's hurt so he'll fall in the ranks, Gresham, or Tamme who will be a stud before the end of the season. Don't worry about a defense or kicker, as you can play the match ups weekly and just shuffle them in and out. Let me stop, you might be in my league, lol. That's what I would do. Good luck anyway,

You have to take Rice... Don't worry about QB, depth is there. Especially if you're in a 10 or 12 team league.

Take Rice! With Matthews being a walking injury every year, you need a RB to carry the load. You can grab Eli who will likely have another solid year as he continues to improve and the Giants become more of a passing team. I would love the Stafford/Megatron combo but with Matthews out at least the start of the season and likely missing more games combined with the fact that Stafford has only one season without injury..... Rice is the safest pick and gives you a great 1-2 punch at RB and not a tremendous drop off from Staffors to Eli anyway.

who would you rather have on your fantasy team? Jahvid Best or Michael Bush?

ebear4164
Best. Best has potential to be great if he's healthy.... averaged over 100 total yards in games he played in. bush is a backup.

Cam Newton he will score more rushing TD's then either of them

right now Bush...but if your able to stash Best on your roster late I would do it. When he gets cleared he's gonna be productive. Id rather have Kevin Smith than Bush though.

Not really..... Green-Ellis has been a great fantasy option. (he obviously is no longer a Pat) but I went with him 2 straight years and he was fine.

So is MJD coming to work or not? I'm in the 5 slot and the draft starts Monday, I'm assuming Foster, McCoy, Rice, and Rodgers will be gone. Down to CJ2K and MJD I guess.
>
RevClyburn
Man, what happened to getting DMC? He's not relevant anymore? He'll be there and MJD will be down further with his hold out. That's if you're looking for a back, BREES will be on the board too.

CJ2K... Do not take a QB in the first 2 rounds. Doesn't anyone else use a magic formula for your draft boards or do you rely on TMR and ESPN and use their crappy boards? My advice, tailor your own with your league settings included. It will be obvious then who to draft!
