Kevin, it's a bit of an oversimplification to call a 19 year old a 'bad outfielder' without qualification. You could add Harper is a 'bad outfielder right now' or is a 'bad centerfielder right now' or is an 'outfielder with a good arm but raw, underdeveloped skills since he recently made the transition to the position'. All would be more accurate and more precise than just saying Harper is a bad outfielder.

Just because he isn't puffing up on Harper's $@%! like everyone else at the network seems to do doesn't mean he was putting him down. Even the most casual fan can recognize that he wasn't suggesting that Harper cannot develop. Regardless, he isn't a natural CF and would be better suited at one of the corner spots where his immediate deficiencies will be easier to mask.
