Depends if you need speed. In a vacuum I'd pass, but it's splitting hairs between those two.

Its All Madden
Eric, in your video talking about Daniel Bard's value, you mentioned he was not one of your top 10 middle relievers for the ROS. Who does make that top 10 list?

i am curious about the same thing.Could have gotten him in a deal for Lance Lynn but his playing time scared me off.If he plays everyday its a no brainer trade.

they moved Beltran to CF for the first time since 2010 so they can stick Craig in RF ... I think that tells ya they'll try to get him in everyday.

How is investing in Casilla risky? He is their closer, just had to heal up a bruise the last couple of days. Romo/Affeldt are clearly viewed by the org as specialist types and Casilla is the obvious 9th inning man. If anything his brief absence may have created a slight buy low window--which I would take because his numbers are incredible, easy top5 closer and SF always plays close games.

I think the point was that it's an injury prone bullpen and injuries have created a very fluid situation where any one of those guys could step in and handle the role. He didn't specifically say Casilla was a risk, just that the Giants bullpen as a whole is a risky proposition. Which it is, 6 San Francisco players have recorded saves on the year. Casilla has 14 of the 20, but he and the others all have injury concerns. Agree on top 5 rest of the way if healthy though, San Fran is 3rd in saves and they always seem to play it tight.
