People need to remember Phil Simms didn't step right into the starting spot and win SB's. In fact he was benched for David Hostetler or was it for Scott Brunner, I cant remember. Point is if the talent is there and he has an arm, then bring him onto the fold, for the taxi squad and see if he is coachable. No harm/no foul if it doesn't work.
