Elvis had two close calls go against him at first. Yet, unlike last night's Angel outfielders who constantly looked up at the replay screen located on top of home run porch, after they missed wall scraping flies, neither Elvis or anyone on the field looked to see if the ump got the call right........because they don't show close plays at the ball park. Is that because of the baseball umps union? Doesn't seem to hurt other major sports when they replay ref mistakes?

It wasn't about his decision to leave- it was the way he did it. No one can blame him for taking the money. But during the offseason, he basically threw the ranger organization under the bus for thier offer and then tweeted out Nap's phone number. Doesn't sound gracious at all to me.

I would love to see Josh go for the triple crown, but that's something that hasn't happened since '67. Idk, but if he stays healthy I think those home run numbers might be low. I think he could go around 50-55. We'll see. It's possible he could have a really bad month, though I doubt it will be anywhere near as bad as Pujols has had, lolz.

am with u abbott, seems like the league is determined to not have Texas back in WS contention as it doesnt sound/look as sexy as Spankees or the Bo-tox...a game less than 12 hrs after the last one & its not a double header & rite after a travel nite, while the other team got a rest day to travel, hmmmmmm.....smacks of favoritism...good teams dont make excuses but i just think we need Beltre's sponge of a mitt back at the hot corner & have MY be rested at DH as he is OBVIOUSLY showing his age at the plate lately....

Still wondering why the league scheduled a day game like this. No doubt this was a tired team out there today. -- After that double header, get in at 3:00 AM, play a night game followed by a nooner. Just not right. Harrison pitched plenty good enough to win but the main characters were playing on fumes today. --- Get a good night's sleet boys, your gonna need it to beat Weaver. We may find out Sunday if Feliz is the potential ace we thought he would be.

yes it does. did you see when they had the bases loaded and one out? Karrosse says " with the bases loaded it will be hard to turn a dp here so it's lkely a run will score. What? Texas is one of the best at turning DP's....Terrible.

I never knew that was in his contract. that's pretty crazy, I was actually thinking the same exact thing, but I'm glad the league put that in place so that he can keep clean and we can know that the amazing things he is doing are legitimate.

Just a tired team out there really. Thursday double header. come in late and then play a game until 1:00am Saturday morning just to get up to play again at 12:00pm. I knew todays game would be like this. Now we just have to get some timely hits when it matters against Weaver and Feliz needs to be good. Or else we walk away and give the Angels a glimmer of hope that they are not the worst team in this division. Which they clearly are.

I totally agree. If we have to lose a game to the Angels at least it was close and not like the butt whooping we gave them the night before. And plus they were so tired. Hell I could barely stay awake and all I've done is WATCH the games. The put their heart into it no matter what though.
