Jamison Hensley (ESPN)
Hello everyone to the weekly AFC North chat. Thanks for joining in on the fun. Let's kick this off.
Travis (Philadelphia)
The Browns CAN'T go into the season with their current receiving core can they?... Wait, Can they? Do you see them making any moves at all to sure up the worst receiving core in the NFL to help their rookie QB?
Jamison Hensley (ESPN)
I would be very surprised if there was a major addition made to the Browns WR group. Cleveland had a chance to add an impact player in free agency and in the draft. The Browns decided not to do it. That was the point when they should've made the move.
Chris Fiegler (Latham,NY)
What AFC North Team will have the Best Defense in 2012?
Jamison Hensley (ESPN)
Steelers. The Ravens are without Suggs. The Bengals will be without Leon Hall for a period. And the Browns will be without Phil Taylor. I know Pittsburgh might not have Casey Hampton, but I still see the Steelers defense as the class of the AFC North.
Antwon (Cleveland)
Why is it that the nfl is most popular sport in america but they are the only league that doesnt guarantee contracts
Jamison Hensley (ESPN)
With the amount of injuries in the NFL, guaranteed contracts would lead to bankrupt owners.
Sean (New York)
9-7 for the Ravens??? Really Jamison??? Really?????
Jamison Hensley (ESPN)
Not sure why there is so much shock over this. The Ravens can have a down year every now and then. This is a team that's been to the playoffs for four straight seasons and now is dealing with a lot of off-the-field distractions. People are acting like I picked the Ravens to go 6-10.
Alex (Pittsburgh)
In regards to Wallace how much money are we looking at? I would love to see him signed but not for Fitzgerald money. What will his deal do to their cap space issues?
Jamison Hensley (ESPN)
Wallace won't get Calvin Johnson or Larry Fitzgerald money. But he should get more than Garcon and DeSean Jackson. A little over $21 million guaranteed on a five-year contract would be a fair deal.
Tom (Columbus)
How important will the 2nd Wide Reciever spot be for the Bengals because they already have Green and Gresham plus a slot guy in Shipley?
Jamison Hensley (ESPN)
You nailed it by mentioning Gresham. This should be a breakout season for him. The pecking order in terms of receptions will be Green and then Gresham. But the Bengals still need to find a dependable No. 2 wide receiver. It was only one day, but I was impressed with how Brandon Tate looked at minicamp.
Sean (New York)
Will Justin Tucker make the team as an insurance policy in case Billy relapses?
Jamison Hensley (ESPN)
The Ravens need someone with more experience than Tucker. He offers no competition. Baltimore will regret not bringing in a veteran kicker if Cundiff struggles.

What is Ray Lewis' legacy to you? Is he probably the greatest defensive player I will see in my lifetime? Im 31 by the way.
Jamison Hensley (ESPN)
Ray Lewis is the best defensive player I've covered. No one even close. Some might argue Lawrence Taylor was more dominant during his time.
Nick (DC)
With the exception of Vincent Jacksons 9 week holdout, how many players really miss regular season games because of contract disputes? Something tells me we shouldnt be worried about Wallace/Rice/etc.
Jamison Hensley (ESPN)
Patriots guard Logan Mankins also missed games to protest being a restricted free agent in 2010. I wouldn't be worried about Rice or Wallace missing games. Wallace should be there when camp begins and Rice will likely be there a few weeks before the regular season begins.
Eric (new york) [via mobile]
Hey Jamison keep up the great work. With the lack of speed and quality receivers does it make sense for the browns to at least reach out about Percy harvin since he is requesting a trade?
Jamison Hensley (ESPN)
As Adam Schefter pointed out, the Vikings need receivers. They're not trading him. He's not coming to Cleveland.
Harrison (New York)
Percy Harvin's chances of being traded to Cincinnati?
Jamison Hensley (ESPN)
As Adam Schefter pointed out, the Vikings need receivers. They're not trading him. He's not coming to Cincinnati.
Teryl Sugg (Baltimore)
I will return to the field. Don't worry, I'll be splendid.
Jamison Hensley (ESPN)
The Achilles injury has affected your ability to spell your own name.
Mike (North Carolina)
Who do you see stepping up to fill Phil Taylor's shoes on the Brown's DL?
Jamison Hensley (ESPN)
It's still a competition between Paxson, Hughes and Winn. Paxson was running with the first team during the two days of minicamp that I attended.
Omar (Dayton, Ohio. )
Hey Jamison, Do you think Marvin Lewis' contract extension is something that Mike Brown is delaying or maybe Marvin himself is holding off to see how things go with the supposed new changes in management philosophy?
Jamison Hensley (ESPN)
My feeling on the situation is Brown has approached Lewis a few times about a contract extension. He wants to get it done. Lewis, though, gains more leverage if the Bengals get to the playoffs again.
Roman (Milwaukee)
Assuming they go deep into the preseason, which holdout could prove more detremental to their teams season, Mike Wallace or Ray Rice?
Jamison Hensley (ESPN)
Rice. He's the centerpiece of their offense. Roethlisberger is the centerpiece of the Steelers offense.
