All eyes will be on R.A. Dickey on Saturday as the knuckleballer goes for his 19th win. With three more starts lined up on the year, two against Miami and one against Pittsburgh, the veteran has a good shot at becoming the first Mets pitcher to win 20 games since 1990.

Jenrry Mejia struggled on the two-year anniversary of his last major league start. Mejia was charged with five runs on six hits and five walks in three-plus innings as the Mets lost to the Milwaukee Brewers, 9-6, Saturday night.

Matt Harvey struck out 10 and limited the Washington Nationals to one run after Robert Carson bailed him out of a bases-loaded, no-out jam in the sixth. But Harvey suffered a hard-luck defeat in his second-to-last start of 2012 as the Mets lost to the Nats, 2-0, Wednesday night.

WHAT IT MEANS: Matt Harvey struck out 10, but the Mets’ bats again were dormant in a 2-0 loss to the Washington Nationals on Wednesday night at Citi Field. The lone damage against Harvey came on Ryan Zimmerman’s fourth-inning solo homer.
R.A. Dickey surrendered a pinch-hit two-run homer in the seventh to Tyler Moore to surrender the lead and the Mets ultimately lost, 5-3, to the Washington Nationals on Tuesday night at Citi Field. Dickey remained at 18 wins with four starts left in his season.
