McCourty, Woodyard, McCluster limited

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Three Tennessee Titans were limited as the team began preparation for the Bengals in Cincinnati on Sunday.

Cornerback Jason McCourty (groin), inside linebacker Wesley Woodyard (ankle) and running back Dexter McCluster (foot) were limited, according to coach Ken Whisenhunt.

He said he anticipated them all improving as the week goes on and indicated that resting Woodyard was done in part to allow younger guys to get some work.

Per the Twitter account of Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean, McCourty ran on a side field during the period of practice when the cornerbacks worked as a group. Wyatt also said McCluster, who left LP Field in a walking boot Sunday, “was up and running.”

Some of the open locker room period overlapped with Whisenhunt’s news conference, but none of the three players in question were in the locker room while I was there.
