RTC: Eddie George dreams of a stake in the Titans

Reading the coverage of the Tennessee Titans ...

Running down the top five offseason developments for the Titans so far, with Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean.

The Titans re-signed cornerback Brandon Harris, who can also play some safety. Harris was claimed off waivers from the Texans last year, right before the season started. Wyatt’s story on Tennessee keeping Harris.

To which I say: Right from the start, defensive coordinator Ray Horton said last season that his hope was Harris would be the most help in 2015. I thought he played pretty well in his limited chances.

Eddie George dreams of helping the Titans win a Lombardi Trophy, as an owner, says David Boclair of the Nashville Post.

To which I say: If the Titans were ever sold, having George with a stake in the team wouldn’t be a bad thing. As Boclair points out, George has somewhat of a Midas touch. But small minority owners don't generally have a big hand in how a franchise is run.
