RTC: Taylor Lewan knows his reputation is tarnished

Reading the coverage of the Tennessee Titans…

A half-baked report about Peyton Manning buying a stake in the Titans is “all wishful thinking,” writes David Climer of The Tennessean. “It’s just not happening.”

To which I say: This story set off an incredible buzz in Nashville for a fan base and a city desperate for anything good to grasp on to. Based on the response on my radio show and Twitter account, few people actually understood it. Climer understands it and isn't buying it. I think something along the lines of what's speculated could happen well down the line.

Taylor Lewan knows his reputation suffers after getting probation for a drunken confrontation last year at Michigan, says Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean.

Charlie Whitehurst has proven something to himself with his work this season in Tennessee, writes John Glennon of The Tennessean.

Ken Whisenhunt’s teams haven’t fared so well with a short week of work like the one they have now, says David Boclair of the Nashville Post.

The Titans are turning back to Whitehurst and Joe Fann of the team’s website takes a look at the quarterback.

Things from the Jaguars’ side, from my colleague Mike DiRocco.
