TAMPA, Fla. -- ESPN athletics aesthetics expert Paul Lukas gave the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a resounding thumbs down on their uniforms.

In his annual ranking of the uniforms of all 32 teams, Lukas has the Bucs at No. 29. Lukas isn’t shy about being critical of the Tampa Bay uniforms that got an overhaul in 2014.

He says the Bucs took a perfectly good uniform and ruined it. The only thing he likes about Tampa Bay’s uniforms is the chrome face masks, but they’re not enough to help much in the rankings.

I’m with Lukas in that I liked the pre-2014 uniforms better. But the new ones continued to grow on me as last season went on.
