Tuesday marks 100 days until the NFL regular season kicks off.
To recognize that milestone, ESPN's Stats & Information provides these "100"-themed statistical notes.
Longest active streak of games with 100 receiving yards
• Julio Jones, three
The Atlanta Falcons receiver closed 2015 with 118 yards at the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 15, a season-high 178 yards against the Carolina Panthers the next week and 149 yards against the New Orleans Saints in Week 17.
Jones’ 178-yard game in Week 16 tied for the 10th-most receiving yards in one game last season.
Brandon Marshall, Zach Ertz and Allen Robinson had two consecutive 100-yard receiving games at the end of last season.
Longest active streak of games with 100 scrimmage yards
• Rashad Jennings, four
The New York Giants running back broke the century mark largely on the strength of his rushing.
He had successive weeks of 102, 107, 136 and 176 scrimmage yards in Weeks 14 through 17. Jennings had more than 100 yards rushing alone in Weeks 15 and Week 17, games that -- characteristic of the Giants’ season -- New York lost by less than a touchdown.
The Falcons’ Jones, with his three consecutive 100-yard receiving games, has the second-longest streak behind Jennings.
Last player with 100 receiving yards and 100 rushing yards in the same game
• Arian Foster in 2011, Week 7 at the Tennessee Titans, with 115 rushing yards and 119 receiving yards.
It happened three times during the 2007 season, but Foster and the Titans’ Chris Johnson in 2009 are the only players who have done it since.
Players with an NFL-record 13 consecutive seasons with 100 rushes
• Walter Payton from 1975 to 1987, Emmitt Smith from 1990 to 2002, Jerome Bettis from 1993 to 2005
The Chicago Bears' Payton had at least 100 rushes in every season of his career. He led the NFL in this statistic in four consecutive years, 1976-79, and led the league in rushing yards in the middle two seasons of that stretch.
Smith reached 100 rushes in all 13 of his seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. His career high for rushes was 377 in 1995, the most in the NFL that season. Smith also rushed for career highs in yards (1,773) and touchdowns (25) in 1995, both tops in the NFL.
Bettis set a career high with 375 rushes in 1997. He eclipsed 300 rushes in four other seasons and came one rush from a fifth 300-rush season in 1999.
The only player to record 100 receptions in his first season
• Anquan Boldin, 101 in 2003
Boldin, then with the Arizona Cardinals, also exceeded 100 in his third season (102) and averaged a league-leading 100.1 receiving yards per game that year.
Odell Beckham Jr. had 91 receptions in 2014 for the Giants and might have reached 100 had he not missed four games with a hamstring problem.
The only two active players who have scored at least 100 touchdowns
• Antonio Gates, 104, and Adrian Peterson, 102
The San Diego Chargers' Gates is seventh on the career receiving touchdown list. He’s seven behind Tony Gonzalez.
Gates had 12 catches for touchdowns in 2014, more than he had in 2013 (four) and 2015 (five) combined.
All but five of Peterson's career touchdowns have been on the ground. He had a league-leading 11 rushing touchdowns last season.
Most 100-yard rushing games by a quarterback in the past 10 seasons
• Mike Vick, five
Vick leads in this category even though he hasn’t had any 100-yard rushing games since 2010. He had two that season -- 103 yards in Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers and 130 yards in Week 15 at the Giants.
Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks has four 100-yard rushing games. Three of them came in 2014. The most recent was a 106-yard rushing game in Week 7 at the St. Louis Rams.
