Arkansas running back Jonathan Williams has received plenty of support since hurting his foot two weeks ago, an injury that will likely keep him out for the entire 2015 season.
But one note in particular, from new SEC commissioner Greg Sankey, stood out to the injured Razorbacks star.

I hope the recovery has already started and wish you all the best and a speedy return to full speed. I enjoyed our visit at SEC Media Days and hope to see you when I’m in Fayetteville for Texas Tech!
It's a class move from Sankey, who took over for Mike Slive as SEC commissioner on June 1.
Williams, who was recently named one of the team’s captains for the upcoming season, has already undergone surgery on his foot. The recovery is expected to take four to five months, and he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of returning for a bowl game.
"I'm still definitely 100 percent on this football team, so later in the season if I'm fully cleared and I feel good about being able to play and being healthy, I'll definitely try to play," Williams told reporters Thursday.
Still, Arkansas will be cautious with him. And regardless of whether he plays or not, Williams says he’s “most likely” headed to the NFL after this season.
The Arkansas running back finished fourth in the SEC last season with 1,190 yards and 12 touchdowns. He contemplated leaving school early after his breakout 2014 season, but opted to come back and help the Razorbacks take the next step as a program.
