Potential 2015 sleeper: Ole Miss

It's time to check in with the Ole Miss Rebels and locate a sleeper to keep an eye on in 2015.

Ole Miss

Sleeper: Derrick Jones, WR, Jr.

Why: After spending his first two years in Oxford as a cornerback -- and actually making four starts as a freshman -- Jones moved to wide receiver this spring and really took off. Now, he clearly isn't the most experienced receiver out there, but coach Hugh Freeze was very impressed with how Jones did at his new position. With the Rebels looking for a consistent option at the No. 2 receiver spot behind star Laquon Treadwell, Jones took advantage of most of the reps he saw this spring, showing off some maturity in his approach to the game and some pretty fun athleticism. Like most of the other contenders at that all important second receiver spot, Jones dealt with some inconsistencies this spring, but he was also considered the biggest surprise for the Rebels during their 15 practices. Freeze went as far as to call him out as one of the top guys at receiver after the practices. Jones is fast, rangy and appears to have really turned his game around since his freshman year.
