Bosworth wishes he could play for these Seahawks

Former Seattle Seahawks linebacker Brian Bosworth wishes he was a young man again so he could play for this Seahawks team.

"If I could have found my humility, I think I would have been fantastic in this defense," Bosworth said on a guest appearance on the NFL Nation TV Spreecast Wednesday. "They run, they hit, they smash mouth, they don't care, they have attitude. I love the way the Seattle Seahawks play and would have loved playing on that team."

Bosworth's life is the focus on a new ESPN "30 for 30" episode that airs next week. After his All-American and controversial college years at Oklahoma, Bosworth played three seasons for the Seahawks (1987-89) before injuries forced him to retire early.

If he was able to play today, he would make one big change.

"I would have just throttled back some of the Bozisms that's really just a distraction," he said. "I would have just said, ‘Let's go play some football and win some championships.'"
