RENTON, Wash. – Seattle Seahawks receivers Jermaine Kearse and Doug Baldwin did a funny routine where they answered each other’s questions after practice Sunday, but the serious point they made was how good it was to have fellow receiver Percy Harvin back on the practice field.

Harvin missed two days of practice last week and did not go to the preseason finale at Oakland due to an excused absence for personal business.

The answers from Kearse and Baldwin get a little confusing, but the key is Kearse answered any question directed at Baldwin, and vice versa.

“Just having that type of explosiveness on the field is great to have,” Kearse said of Harvin’s return. “It definitely opens things for Jermaine and I, since I’m Doug. We’re excited to have him back.”

“I think Doug answered that eloquently,” Baldwin said, acting like he was Kearse.

Both men also were asked about running back Marshawn Lynch. In past seasons, former Seattle fullback Michael Robinson acted as a spokesman for Lynch, who doesn’t like to talk to the media.

“I think Marshawn will have a designated talker this year,” Kearse said of the question first directed to Baldwin. “We don’t know [who] yet. It will be a surprise. If you want to put in your bid for it, please go to MarshawnLynch.com. I don’t know if Marshawn.Lynch.com even exists, but try it.”

When Kearse was asked if he wanted the assignment, Baldwin answered.

“Jermaine would be willing to do it," Baldwin said, “but Marshawn is looking for applicants everywhere.”

Lynch is scheduled to talk to reporters on Tuesday after practice, which will be his first words with the media since the Super Bowl.
