Some odds and ends on the Seattle roster

RENTON, Wash. -- Here are a dozen odds and ends on the Seattle Seahawks' 53-man roster:

Oldest player – DT Kevin Williams (34).

Youngest player – DE Cassius Marsh (22 and 2 months).

Heaviest player – It’s listed to be rookie RT Justin Britt at 325 pounds, but I’d like to see them both on a scale to believe Britt is heavier than LG James Carpenter, listed at 321.

Lightest player – Rookie wide receiver Paul Richardson at 183 pounds, dripping wet, no doubt.

Players over 30 – Williams (34), P Jon Ryan (32) and QB Tarvaris Jackson (31).

Most experienced player: Williams, who is starting his 12th NFL season.

Tallest player – DT Tony McDaniel at 6-foot-7.

Shortest player – Officially, it’s a five-way tie at 5-10 between WR Doug Baldwin, RB Christine Michael, RB Robert Turbin, FS Earl Thomas and S Jeron Johnson. So who’s really the shortest? Probably Michael, although he much bulkier than the others at 220 pounds. And QB Russell Wilson is listed 5-11. Maybe in cleats.

Most tattoos – Marsh, who has the most colorful arms on the team.

Double Pierre – The Seahawks have to be the only team in the NFL with two players that have Pierre in their name: C Lemuel Jeanpierre and rookie OLB Kevin Pierre-Louis.

Fastest player – Probably Richardson, but WR Ricardo Lockette could challenge him in a 100-meter dash.

Longest hair – CB Richard Sherman, but Carpenter, TE Luke Willson and RB Marshawn Lynch have some long locks.
