Russell Wilson says his favorite movie ever is 'Life' with Eddie Murphy

Every weekday morning, we'll round up local and national Seattle Seahawks-related links.

Russell Wilson did a Facebook chat Tuesday as he got his hair cut, and he revealed that his favorite movie of all-time is 'Life' with Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence. From Kenneth Arthur of Field Gulls:

Probably the biggest revelation (to me) of the whole scene: Russell Wilson's favorite movie of all-time is 'Life' with Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence. 'Life'. That movie. It would be shocking if that was his favorite Eddie Murphy movie all-time alone, but Wilson says it's his favorite movie period. Thank God this man is great at football.

Elliot Harrison of NFL.com lists one prediction for each NFC team.

Seattle Seahawks: The stingiest scoring defense's four-year reign ends.

It's over, folks. The Seahawks might give up the second-fewest points in the league! Get worried. This might be the weakest of the NFC predictions, but it's still a tiny bit bold. And it provides me an excuse to talk about a record not enough fans know about: The Seahawks are the only team to lead the NFL in points allowed for four seasons in a row. They still have the personnel and home-field advantage to make it five. But the defensive-line changes could be problematic, as could the questions about Thomas Rawls' ability to produce at running back all season.

Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times writes about Rawls' ability to carry the load for the Seahawks.

Nationally, a story line has persisted, about how the Seahawks will replace Lynch without seeming to realize that the team was forced to do just that for the last seven regular-season games last season. The Seahawks went 6-1 during that stretch. (Lynch also missed an early-season game against Detroit that the Seahawks also won.)
