Will Tukuafu and Jesse Williams re-sign with Seahawks

Fullback/defensive tackle Will Tukuafu and defensive tackle Jesse Williams have re-signed with the Seattle Seahawks, the team announced Wednesday.

Tukuafu posted an Instagram photo Wednesday showing him signing a contract, with a Seahawks cap on the table:

Tukuafu (6-foot-2, 290 pounds) was signed by the Seahawks as a free agent on Oct. 29 last year. He spent four seasons with the San Francisco 49ers before being released last September on an injury settlement. He helped replace Seattle Seahawks fullback Derrick Coleman last season after Coleman broke his foot in pregame warmups at St. Louis on Oct. 19.

Tukuafu, 31, played college football at Oregon. He is a rare two-way player, lining up at fullback and also playing backup snaps on the defensive line for the Seahawks.

Williams (6-3, 325) has yet to play in the NFL game, spending his first two years on IR with knee problems. He was a fifth-round draft choice out of Alabama in 2013.
