Morning links: Chris Watt ready for adventure

Good morning.

Tom Krasovic of U-T San Diego writes that rookie Chris Watt possibly making his first start at center against a pretty good defensive line in the St. Louis Rams could be an adventure for the Chargers.

However, according to Krasovic, Watt has shown quick feet and an ability to move defenders off the line of scrimmage in limited duty at center through the first 10 games.

It will be interesting to see if starting center Rich Ohrnberger can return to the practice field this week.

ESPN NFL Nation Rams beat writer Nick Wagoner reports linebacker James Laurinaitis and guard Davin Joseph returned to practice on Thursday for St. Louis after sitting out Wednesday to rest injuries.
