SAN DIEGO -- The San Diego Chargers inched up another spot to No. 5 in ESPN’s NFL Power Rankings after handling the winless Jacksonville Jaguars 33-14 over the weekend.

The AFC West has three teams in the top 14 spots, with the Denver Broncos (2-1) at No. 3, the Chargers at No. 5 and the Kansas City Chiefs at No. 14.

Although they lost to San Diego two weeks ago, the Seattle Seahawks are No. 1. And the Arizona Cardinals, who gave San Diego its only loss of the year in the regular-season opener, are No. 4 in this week’s rankings.

San Diego’s opponent this week, the New York Jets, are ranked No. 26.
