SAN DIEGO -- Buoyed by the team’s first win since October, the San Diego Chargers (3-8) moved up a spot to No. 27 in this week’s ESPN NFL Power Rankings.
The rankings are determined by ESPNs’ Power Panel, a group of more than 80 writers, editors and television personalities.
As far as the rest of the AFC West, the Denver Broncos (9-2) remained at No. 3 after beating the previously undefeated New England Patriots at home on Sunday night.
The Kansas City Chiefs (6-5) moved up three spots to No. 10 after the team’s fifth win in a row.
And the Oakland Raiders (5-6) climbed two spots to No. 16.
The Chargers moved up four spots to No. 24 in our ESPN NFL Football Power Index, an analytics-based approach to ranking teams.
