Mag Minute: Ryan Lochte, Olympic swimmer

Former Florida Gator Ryan Lochte has won 11 Olympic medals (five gold) and sits behind only Michael Phelps with his seven individual medals in men's swimming. He is the world-record holder in the 100-, 200- and 400-meter individual medley events. Since becoming omnipresent in pop culture following the London Games, the 28-year-old has appeared on "30 Rock," expressed interest in "Dancing with the Stars" and become the star of the E! show "What Would Ryan Lochte Do?" which debuted in April. He also plans to compete in the 2016 Olympics in Rio Di Janeiro.

What question are you asked most by media and fans?

Anything that has to do with Michael Phelps. I get asked about him all the time.

What is your most irrational fear?

I have a few: clowns, snakes and spiders. Snakes are just slimy, spiders are creepy and crawly, and I’ve been terrified of clowns ever since I watched Stephen King’s "It" when I was little.

What is the one thing you couldn’t live without?

Music.

Who is your favorite artist?

Lil Wayne. My favorite song is “Sky’s the Limit.” It just gets me in a good mood.

What is your dream job?

Designing my own clothing line. I’m already starting to design my own clothes, so I’m getting into that.

Which pro athlete would you never want to trade places with?

Tiger Woods, probably.

Who is one person you met but wish you’d had more time to talk to?

Jay-Z. I met him at a United Nations gala in New York, but I wish I could hang out with him.

What is the most embarrassing music you admit you listen to?

Oldies. Motown. Actually -- I can’t believe I’m saying this -- I don’t like country at all, but there’s one song that I know all the words to. It’s “There’s Your Trouble” by the Dixie Chicks.

What was your best Halloween costume?

A devil. I was little. That’s the only one I remember.
