Watch James Harrison and friends use a medicine ball to play volleyball

NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is invited to Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison's house, but apparently he couldn't make Harrison's epic volleyball game with friends.

Always looking for a creative workout, Harrison took the sand courts for a 2-on-2 volleyball simulation using a medicine ball, which can weigh 25 pounds or more, depending on the size.

This is not a small medicine ball. A bump-set-spike is more like a clumsy fling over the net.

It appears some of Harrison's teammates joined him for the game. In the spring, Harrison hosted teammates including linebacker Ryan Shazier, defensive end Stephon Tuitt and safety Robert Golden at his training facility in the Phoenix area for some work and sun.

The NFL wants to interview Harrison concerning December's report from Al-Jazeera America linking him to performance-enhancing drugs. The NFL Players Association is playing interference, and Harrison said on Twitter that he'd like to do the interview in his home, with Goodell present.

But wouldn't the interview be more fun if they played this game while they talked? The answer is a resounding yes.
