Know the enemy: Ravens RB Justin Forsett

PITTSBURGH -- Baltimore Ravens running back Justin Forsett is with his fourth team in as many seasons, but the journeyman may have found a home in Baltimore.

Forsett is fourth in the NFL in rushing with 571 rushing yards and his 5.5 yards per carry is tops among players with at least 100 carries.

Forsett rushed for 56 yards on eight carries in the Ravens' 26-6 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sept. 11. He has since emerged as the Ravens feature back; the 5-8, 197-pounder has thrived in offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak's zone-blocking scheme.

Containing Forsett and the Ravens' running game will be key for the Steelers when the two 5-3 teams meet Sunday night at Heinz Field.

Here is what the Steelers are saying about Forsett:

Free safety Mike Mitchell: "He's more of just a downhill, shifty guy. If you look at the holes that their offensive line is opening up, just about anybody could run through them. Their offensive line does an excellent job, their receivers block downfield. He's a very good back by the way that he hits the hole and he really shows his elite ability when he's in open space."

Defensive end Brett Keisel: "I think he's running behind a good line. You watch tape and you see big holes where the line is moving guys and he's running and making people miss. He kind of had his coming-out party against us in the first game and he's been riding that wave ever since. For us to have a chance to win this game we've got to shut the running game down."

Linebacker Lawrence Timmons: "He's got good contact balance. He's kind of like a [Darren] Sproles the way he runs in between the tackles. He runs aggressive and the guys on the line make plays for him."

Defensive end Cameron Heyward: "He's a guy that loves the zone [blocking]. He's not as electrifying as Arian Foster or Ben Tate but he's like that Houston dynamic where they love the zones, love the cutbacks so he's always looking for that crease."

Strong safety Troy Polamalu: "He's quick, he's fast and their offensive line is blocking great right now."
