Jones-Drew back, Sio Moore isn't for Raiders

ALAMEDA, Calif. -- The Oakland Raiders' injury situation appears to brightening as three of the five starters who missed practice Wednesday returned.

Running back Maurice Jones-Drew (hand), defensive end Justin Tuck (illness) and cornerback Carlos Rogers (knee) all returned to practice Thursday. However, linebacker Sio Moore (ankle) and receiver Rod Streater (hip) did not practice. Streater said Wednesday he should be able to play Sunday.

It was Jones-Drew’s first practice since injuring his hand in a Week 1 loss at the New York Jets. Barring a setback, he should share carries with Darren McFadden.

Friday will be a pivotal day for Moore. If he doesn’t practice, he could be in danger of missing Sunday’s game at New England. Moore has been one of the few productive defensive players for the 0-2 Raiders. He was hurt Sunday in a loss against Houston.

Meanwhile, new Raiders receiver Vincent Brown received a $25,000 bonus as part of his one-season deal.
