One down, seven to go.

The Tampa Bay Lightning became the first team eliminated from the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs, bowing out in four games to the Montreal Canadiens. The Habs will square off against the winner of the Boston Bruins-Detroit Red Wings series, while the Lightning will figure out what to do this summer, as explored by our Craig Custance.

The biggest decision to be made is the one on impending UFA Ryan Callahan, acquired in the Martin St. Louis deal ahead of the trade deadline. Callahan brings a blue-collar work ethic and strong leadership, but his declining skills (and the injury toll that his playing style takes) may not be worth the term that he is seeking. Other teams -- such as the Buffalo Sabres -- may be more willing to take that risk.

Meanwhile, the club must also decide what to do about RFAs Tyler Johnson and Ondrej Palat, who also happen to both be Calder Trophy finalists.
