While the Detroit Lions are preparing for offseason roster decisions -- especially how they will handle Ndamukong Suh's contract -- they also are focused on improving the NFL's instant replay system.

Still stinging from the pass-interference flag that was picked up late during their eventual loss to the Dallas Cowboys in the playoffs, the Lions have submitted a proposal to the NFL's competition committee asking them to expand replay to allow review of officiating calls.
