Big game in store for Colts TEs?

Although fantasy owners aren't exactly clamoring to add Jacksonville Jaguars skill players to their lineups, the Jags' shoddy defense has helped create plenty of quality weekly fantasy options for their opponents. That's particularly true for opposing tight ends.

"Over the last 16 games, the Jaguars have allowed opposing tight ends to catch 99 passes for 1,155 yards and 11 touchdowns," noted Hays Carlyon of the Florida Times-Union.

"That’s without facing arguably the NFL’s two best tight ends in New Orleans’ Jimmy Graham and New England’s Rob Gronkowski. Also, the Jaguars are 4-12 in that span with opponents regularly leading by double-digits late and not throwing the ball."

The Jaguars will benefit this week from getting safety Johnathan Cyprien back from his concussion. However, considering that only two teams allowed more fantasy points to tight ends in 2013 and only three have allowed more points to tight ends in 2014, the Indianapolis Colts TEs should get revved up for Week 3.

Both Dwayne Allen and Coby Fleener have been pretty quiet early on this season, but Allen is the more likely of the Colts tight ends to bust loose with a big outing this weekend.
