The Atlanta Falcons became the second NFC South team to sign its entire draft class Friday night.
The Falcons just announced the signing of defensive end
Jonathan Massaquoi. A fifth-round pick out of Troy, Massaquoi produced 19.5 sacks during his college career. He’s expected to compete for a spot as depth on the defensive line. The Falcons already have
John Abraham,
Ray Edwards and
Kroy Biermann as their top three defensive ends. Massaquoi will be competing with
Lawrence Sidbury,
Cliff Matthews and some others for the fourth spot.
The
Carolina Panthers were the first division team to sign all their rookies. The
Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed all but first-round picks
Doug Martin and
Mark Barron.
The
New Orleans Saints have yet to sign any of their five picks.
