MNF moments, No. 6: Bo runs into tunnel

To celebrate the 45th season of "Monday Night Football," a panel of ESPN.com contributors has selected the 45 most memorable moments in MNF history. Follow along as we reveal one per day and count down to this season's MNF debut.

No. 6: Los Angeles Raiders 37, Seahawks 14 | Nov. 30, 1987

Los Angeles Raiders running back Bo Jackson celebrated his 25th birthday with a breakout performance in Week 11 of his rookie season, rushing for a career-high 221 yards against the home team Seattle Seahawks.

After catching a 14-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Marc Wilson earlier in the night, Jackson put his stamp on the game with a 91-yard touchdown run in the second quarter.

On third down, Jackson took the handoff from inside the Raiders' 10-yard line and went around left end before turning on the afterburners down the sideline and into the end zone.

But the two-sport phenom didn't stop there. He ran into the tunnel at the Kingdome and then tossed the ball into the air before swinging at it with an imaginary bat. "Monday Night Football" analyst Dan Dierdorf said of the run, "He might not stop 'til Tacoma."

It was the second-longest touchdown run of Jackson's short but exciting four-year NFL career.
