This video wasn't ready for publication Tuesday, when it first appeared, but it's firing on all cylinders now. ESPN.com's 2012 season preview, complete with predicted finishes, is scheduled to post Thursday. But to start the appetite whetting process, let's take a look at what the folks at EA Sports and "Madden NFL 13" see through their cyber eyes.

The video animation projects a 16-touchdown season for Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson. It also predicts 12-4 records for two of our NFC North teams. You can probably guess who, but only one of them advances to the mythical but legendary "Madden NFL 13" Super Bowl.
