          Beltran leaves team for personal issue

          ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Carlos Beltran has left the Yankees to deal with a personal matter. The team hasn't said when he will return.

          Beltran is already limited by bone spurs in his elbow. He will have surgery on the elbow following the season.
