Morning notes: Yankees at Tigers

TAMPA, Fla. -- The Yankees travel to Lakeland today to play the Detroit Tigers and drop in on their old buddy Joba Chamberlain, now a member of their middle relief crew. And guess who's starting for Detroit? None other than the reigning AL Cy Young winner, Max Scherzer.

Here's the lineup:

Jacoby Ellsbury CF

Eduardo Nunez 3B

Carlos Beltran RF

Brian McCann C

Zoilo Almonte LF

Russ Canzler 1B

Brendan Ryan SS

Dean Anna 2B

Gary Sanchez DH

Adam Warren RHP

Notes: Warren will be followed by Shawn Kelley, making his first appearance of the spring, Dellin Betances, and assorted others ... Girardi said Derek Jeter came out of his first spring game OK and is on track to play tomorrow against the Phillies at home ... Michael Pineda has yet to throw in a game, but will pitch a simulated game here on Sunday ... Jose Ramirez' MRIs on his back and oblique came back clean, but the right-hander is still "sore,'' according to Girardi, and will be down for a few more days.
