New York Giants' Black Friday shopping list includes leftovers for Odell Beckham Jr.

A faster-moving game clock. The Giants have held leads of six or more points in the fourth quarter of four of their five losses. In those four games, the Giants' opponent scored the go-ahead points with an average of 29.5 seconds left on the clock. If the Giants could have that clock hurry up and run out on their opponents, they'd be well in front of the NFC East race and in contention for one of the top seeds in the NFC. They need to find a way to keep the ball in their own quarterback's hands in that final minute and take a knee to end the game.

A glove to make Jason Pierre-Paul's right hand feel comfortable. Wearing that club mitten on his damaged right hand is clearly limiting Pierre-Paul's ability as a game-wrecking pass-rusher. He can still win on the edge with speed, but he's at a disadvantage when he has to operate with his hands on a blocker and shed the block. Pierre-Paul has said he'd like to graduate to a glove at some point, and he occasionally works with one in practice or in the weight room. But to this point, he hasn't been able to find one that he's comfortable wearing in a game.

The same Thanksgiving leftovers Odell Beckham Jr. had last year. In five games after Thanksgiving last year, the Giants' star wide receiver averaged 10 catches for 139 yards and scored a total of seven touchdowns. A repeat of that performance is unlikely, but anything approximating it would likely elevate the Giants above an uninspiring NFC East field. So please make sure the cranberry sauce is between the turkey and the stuffing in those next-day sandwiches -- then it won't soak through the bun. That's messy.
